Dedicated to the memory of Roger Galvin
This site is a tribute to Roger Galvin, who was born in Liverpool on October 04, 1947.
Through his working life he touched the lives of thousands of children as a teacher and headmaster at DeLisle RC Comprehensive Loughborough and St Paul's RC Comprehensive Leicester.
Roger threw himself body and soulinto everything he did and enjoyed life to the full, even if on occasions he pushed himself right to the limit.
Roger was passionate about many things in lifeand if I was to list his loves I think you would all agree that family,friends, holidays, food, wine and sport sum Roger up perfectly.
Some of the funniest and fondest memories I haveof Roger are from holidays we have shared, and if you ask Helen, Matthew and hisgrandchildren to remember Roger their stories will often come back round to allthe laughter and fun from trips they had with him.
He will be a forever loved husband, father, grandfather and great friend and will always be remembered by those who knew him.

A Wonderful Man, Teacher, and role model. Never to be forgotten and i never will forget! He was the best at my time in Delisle. God Bless Your Family and rest peacefully.
